To say that DJ Hardy has always been involved in the music industry would be an understatement. Hardy’s love affair with music began when he was seven and continued right through his pre-teens, when he started drumming with a local band. Gifting himself a mixer for Christmas in 2003, Hardy’s DJing career began and his life of entertaining audiences was just taking off. Though just a college student at the time, Hardy taught himself how to mix and mastered the techniques of DJing without the guiding hand of a veteran.

After much pr

acticing and self-critiquing, Hardy landed his first residency at a local college bar, Theodoors. Hardy worked hard to define himself and his sound, which resulted in other residencies in the Ann Arbor and Detroit areas, as well as being fortunate enough to travel around the world performing at various events. In 2005, Hardy obtained a residency at the Necto nightclub in Ann Arbor DJing on Thursday and Saturday nights. Dubbed one of the largest club nights in the Metro Detroit area, Saturdays at the Necto feature DJ Hardy and MC Yoda, as well as Hardy’s video mixes, which mark yet another skill that Hardy is incorporating into his already entertaining DJ set. Keeping in tune with the hype college crowds, Hardy also heads Friday nights at the Hills Bar and Grille in Rochester, MI, where he plays a wide variety of music to satisfy the musical taste buds of all the partygoers.

Since 2005, Hardy has incorporated visual mixes into his sets with the use of music videos and utilizing the Video Scratch Live plug in. Seamlessly blending his creative mixes with the visually stimulating music videos, as well as loop manipulation and video scratching, Hardy is able to keep the crowd entertained, even those not moving and grooving.
Striving to reach his highest potential, Hardy also remixes high demand tracks by today’s most popular artists when he’s not fulfilling his DJ residencies. Though beginning his career as a hip-hop fan, Hardy has evolved and now loves many different genres of music including reggae, rock, pop, electronic and funk, all of which he isn’t afraid to blend together. Hardy also utilizes acapellas and instrumentals to enhance whichever track he is building in the most pleasantly unexpected manners. Hardy is constantly working on new remixes, so keep a look out for all that he has to offer.

Young, ambitious and thirsty for knowledge, Hardy continues to learn all he has to learn in order to be the best DJ he can possibly be. Reaching for the highest level of success, Hardy still remains, at his core, a lover of music. With a deep passion for what he does, Hardy understands every crowd he performs for and their need to hear the best possible music on what may be their only night out.

A young, energetic deejay from the streets of Detroit, Captn20 possesses a wide stream of musical styles, but his true passion lives in House Music. After locking down a residency at the ultra chic lounge known as The Corner, located in the 5 Diamond Townsend Hotel, Captn20 began to gain ground fast in the industry holding down residencies three to four nights a week at the area’s most upscale nightclubs and lounges. His style and energy has put him behind the decks at every major venue in the Metro Area. Since then, he has become a staple in the scene, as one of the most sought after deejays in the Detroit Region. He has been the go to man for grand openings, fashion events, celebrity events, and more.

Just one year after his introduction to the decks, Captn20 formed a music collective known as Basement Beats Productions. Designed to help local talent flourish and grow, Basement Beats has also aided in and been responsible for bringing in talent from all over the world, giving him the opportunity to share the decks with major artists such as Sharam, Kaskade, Chris Lake, Fedde le Grand, Colette, Miguel Migs, as well as the late DJ A.M., DJ Vice and the S.K.A.M. Artist Crew. No stranger to the celebrity world, Captn20 has been called on to perform for such names as DIDDY, Mylie Cyrus, Hugh Jackman, Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih, and more as the go to man for celebrity and motion picture events in Detroit.

In 2008, Captn20 received the title of “Official DJ” of Six Degrees Magazine (who recently joined forces with 944 Magazine). In conjunction with Six Degrees, as well as sponsors like ABSOLUT Vodka, Jose Cuervo Platino, Motley Bird Energy Drink, MGM Grand, and Lexus Automotive, Captn20 produced a music compilation titled “Six Degrees of Sound”. This collection of six full-length mixes was created to provide VIP guests with a great lasting impression of the music played at various signature events. Each mix provides a unique sound designed to collaborate with the theme of each event.

In late 2009, Captn20 was approached by MGM Grand Detroit to become their new Saturday night resident and Program Director at V Nightclub. Since his arrival, V has reached new heights and is raising the bar for nightlife in Detroit. In 2010, Captn20 was named Best Club DJ by Real Detroit Magazine and received the Reader’s Picks Best Club DJ Honors from 944 Magazine, and has been hitting clubs from Boston to Las Vegas with no intention of slowing down. Currently in the process of his first major EP release, you can definitlye expect to see more of the kid from the Basement!

There’s an intelligence and a well defined style to his sets. He’s quickly emerging as one to watch in the next generation of superstar DJs.” When Paul Oakenfold has this to say about someone people can tend to stop and take a listen. Following in an elite class consisting of Dave Ralph, D:Fuse & Hernan Cattaneo, its seems every 5 years or so Oakenfold hand picks a future star to take under his wing and the latest selection is Kenneth Thomas.

Hailing out of the Detroit, the birthplace of Techno, KT stands out with his emotional and melodic sound. Although often categorized in the trance vain, his ability to blend and explore all dance music genres are what makes his live performances such a unique experience. Music has always been a spiritual place for Kenneth and because the depth of dance music goes well beyond the conscious level, there’s an underlying exploration of emotion in every set and track.

Beyond traveling the globe sharing his music, Kenneth has also become a juggernaut in the studio. Over the past 6 years he’s completed over 50 original tracks and remixes for labels including Perfecto, Hope, Armada, Om, Cuurve, Alter Ego, Pacha and more.
Last fall saw the culmination of his work come together with his hybrid 2XCD Compilation/Album “Perfecto Presents Kenneth Thomas” that saw critical acclaim. This past year alone his single Drive chopped the charts in the UK and his recent remixes for Perfecto, Need You Now and Firefly, have also garnered massive support. Firefly even held the top spot on Radio 1 for two weeks early in 2011.

The future is glowing for Kenneth, touring the world sharing his blend of progressive minded dance music. The focus has never changed since day one as he says, “This is the most amazing sound I have ever encountered, I just want to share it with as many people as possible”

The charismatic artist is beginning to make her mark as a headliner, having opened for Katy Perry, LMFAO, Cobra Starship, Lupe Fiasco and Shiny Toy Guns. This year she entertained U.S. troops in Hawaii and will continue to perform shows across the U.S. and Japan as a headliner for the 2012 “Welcome Home Leatherneck Tour.”

“Smack You,” the lead track off her 2010 debut album, Bad Girls Club (Oxygen Media/iTunes), is a girlfight-themed song about standing up for yourself, which Cole dedicates to “anyone who has ever been a victim of bullying.” The edgy, upbeat song has received strong Top 40 radio and mix show adds across the U.S. and broke the Billboard Dance Chart’s top 4. The video has a Tarantino-inspired Kill Bill-style fight club theme. “Smack You” was featured on the fifth season of the Oxygen reality show “The Bad Girls Club,” a collaboration which led the network to support the release of her first full-length album.

Bad Girls Club is infused with catchy tunes, clever lyrics and irresistible beats. She co-wrote all the songs with Grammy-nominated producer/writer Jeeve (Nicole Scherzinger, Paulina Rubio, Santana), joined by the songwriting talents of Philip Lawrence (Bruno Mars, Flo Rida, Cee-Lo) and The Writing Camp (Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna). From the sexy “Cherry Pop” and “Pocket Rocket” to the party-hearty beat of “Get Stupid” to such relationship-driven tracks as “Psycho,” “Walk of Shame” and the comedy-laced “Three Way,” Cole establishes herself as a talent both fresh and fearless.

A native of Orange County, California, Kimberly Cole studied piano, voice and dance beginning at the age of four. But it was in her teenage years when her skills all came together, performing for huge audiences as a champion competitive artistic roller skater, a demanding sport where she learned how to tell a story with her body and enthrall arena-sized crowds by fusing hip-hop and break-dance into electrifying routines. While earning a reputation as a spunky on-camera talent, in hosting gigs for MTV and as a celebrity judge on VH1′s “Saddle Ranch,” she has cultivated her acting talents as well, co-starring with Eliza Dushku in the Fox series “Dollhouse.”

Cole has performed on soundtracks for such films as Fame, her song “I Know” accompanies the closing credits of Mean Girls 2, and Oxygen has featured more than a dozen of her songs on its series “Bad Girls Club,” “Love Games” and “The World According to Paris.” Kimberly Cole has also lent her talents to myriad commercials, including those for Old Navy, Mattel, Mountain Dew, Skechers and Pantene, most recently appearing in ads for Skittles in a custom pair of candy-covered headphones.
