DJ Lena

DJ Lena has been spinning since 2006 at private parties and clubs. She was born and raised in Detroit. When she was a child, her parents would play classical music every night, for her to sleep by. Her father was a music teacher for 32 years and would bring home instruments to repair and that’s when she started to play them. By the time she was 12, she could read music and play all the brass and woodwind instruments. She doesn’t do that anymore, however this is why music is ingrained in her. It fills her soul.

And speaking of soul, house music is rooted in soul and gospel. And if yall dont know that, you better get to listenin! House music invokes a pure feeling of joy. A joy that is for the music, itself pure and simple.

House music is the answer, no matter the question.

DJ Lena uses a Traktor S4 Controller and 2 Numark NDX800s. She uses a Dell PC XPS15 with lighted keyboard and Trakstor Scratch Pro.
